Saturday, July 28, from 10 am-1 pm, come learn scene study technique with one of Circle’s favorite directors, Jessica Damrow Sherman (Hamlet, As You Like it, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Richard III, Prelude to a Kiss)
Not only does this class cover the basics of backstory, environmental work, developing active objectives and playing actions, but actors will work on mastering their listening skills while working on contemporary scenes. Playwrights could include David Auburn, Sam Shepard, August Wilson and Sarah Ruhl, among others.
